Editorial Policy

Cubi Savings is designed to make online savings information clearer and more useful. This policy explains how we source, review, update, and present offers.

Our sources

Our team reviews promotions using merchant information and internal editorial evidence. Public source information focuses on first-party evidence from official merchant websites and brand newsletters.

Public source information is selective. When a promotion is found on an official brand page, we may show and link to that merchant page as evidence. When a promotion comes from a brand newsletter, we may identify it as a newsletter and show the date received. Other source and research details can remain internal.

How we review offers

  • We confirm that the merchant and destination are relevant to the offer.
  • We record available terms, exclusions, expiration information, and eligibility requirements when known.
  • We distinguish promo codes from sales, free shipping, gifts, vouchers, cashback, bundles, and other offer types.
  • We mark offers expired or inactive when we have evidence that they have ended.
  • We may retain expired offers as historical information when that context is useful to shoppers.

What we do not do

We do not invent promo codes, discounts, ratings, reviews, test results, or claims that an offer was verified when we do not have evidence for that claim.

Merchant changes

Promotions can change without notice. A merchant may change prices, inventory, exclusions, eligibility, dates, or code behavior after we publish an offer. The merchant checkout and current merchant terms control the final transaction.
